Weather and Climate Dynamics indexed in Scopus

17 June 2022

Weather and Climate Dynamics, as an open-access scientific journal of the European Geophysical Union (EGU), is dedicated to the publication and public discussion of high-quality research on dynamical processes in the atmosphere. It aims to establish a seamless perspective on atmospheric flows, on scales from weather to climate (minutes to decades). Articles cover topics including weather systems and extreme weather events; interactions of atmospheric flows with clouds and radiation; teleconnections and stratosphere-troposphere coupling; boundary layer dynamics; interactions with land, ocean and ice; variability and predictability; and the role of atmospheric dynamics in paleoclimate and climate change projections. We are proud to announce that WCD has been successfully evaluated for inclusion in Scopus by the Content Selection & Advisory Board.

This great news reflects both the hard work of the editorial board and reviewers and the confidence of the scientific community who submit top-quality contributions to WCD. We are delighted that WCD will soon be represented in this major scientific database, and we would like to thank everyone who has contributed to WCD reaching this significant milestone.

Please note that it may take several weeks or even months until Scopus has processed all XML metadata following the data transfer from Copernicus Publications.
